Alpha Gamma Delta International Headquarters is the exclusive owner of the Fraternity trademarks including our name, nicknames, Greek letters, armorial bearings (crest), badge and symbols. As a trademark owner, we have a right and a responsibility to protect our insignia. Alpha Gamma Delta’s licensing program ensures that our insignia is used in ways that align with our values, honor our history and heritage and secure the strength of our organization’s brand for generations of members.
As a member of Alpha Gamma Delta, you ultimately benefit from our licensing program. You can be assured that when ordering from a licensed vendor, you will receive high quality products, competitive prices and excellent customer service. Our vendors agree to uphold specific standards, and we can hold them accountable to these standards if you ever encounter an issue. On the contrary, if you or your chapter work with an unlicensed vendor and encounter an issue, we may not be able to help you resolve the matter.
Without a well-managed licensing program, we would not be able to control who utilizes our trademarks. If unlicensed vendors could use our beloved insignia with no oversight, we would risk losing our ownership of the marks and our Fraternity’s ability to be a distinctive organization.
